Coconut Scrubbie
One of our toughest scrubbers! This sustainable swap helps you replace steel wool or plastic pot scrubbers in the kitchen or for general household cleaning. Stiff but malleable coconut husk bristles especially designed to handle heavy duty cleaning; ideal for scrubbing out stains, stuck on food, removing labels from jars, tub and shower build-up, etc. Works on a variety of surfaces including cast iron.
Can be used for 6 months-1 year.
Care Instructions: Rinse all food and allow bristles to dry in between uses. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the natural bristles and may cause premature fall out. If you need to clean your brush, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria or pop in boiling water to sanitize. Made from natural coconut husks, the bristles shed a bit during use, but better to send coconut down than drain than microplastics?!

How to Dispose: Can be demoted to household cleaning then home composted. Metal wire can be scrap metal recycled. Bury in your garden or pluck bristles from wire composting the bristles and recycling the wire.

I am using this in place of a scrub daddy. Microplastics, amirite? So far it does a great job of getting tough, stuck-on food off, as well as being a bit flexible in the bristly part. The only downside is the metal ring as its core isn't flexible to allow for tight places, but it hasn't been a huge problem.
Perfect for scrubbing pots and pans! Seems like it will last a while. Shop response is very fast.
