Scrub Brush for Pots and Pans
New modular design to reduce even more waste!
This sustainable swap helps you replace steel wool or plastic pot scrubbers in the kitchen or for general household cleaning. Stiff but malleable bristles especially designed to handle heavy duty cleaning; ideal for scrubbing stuck on food, cast iron pans, removing labels from jars, tub and shower build-up, etc. Works on a variety of surfaces, and we have successfully used this brush on ceramic and non-stick pans, just use with care.
Ready for new bristles? Just twist off the old bristle head and compost it, then twist on the refill head and you're ready to scrub again. Keep the handle for longer + reduce waste!
Care Instructions: Hang to dry in between uses or on a dry towel to allow bristles to drain. Never leave submerged in water as it will wear on the wood causing it to crack or may cause the natural bristles to fall out. Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial, but if you need to clean your brush, clean bristles with vinegar to kill bacteria. Bamboo will naturally patina with age. Brush heads should last 3-6 months.
We also recommend occasionally untwisting the head of the modular brushes to allow the inner portion to dry out fully for longevity and to prevent mold growth.
Mother Earth Approved: Bamboo handle with stiff plant fiber bristles- mixture of palm and sisal (agave plant). Comes with twine loop for hanging.
How to Dispose: Can be demoted to household cleaning then home composted.
Packaging: Unpackaged. Kraft paper tag.
