Quick-Dry Diatomite Soap Dishes with Labels

I bought this expecting it to dry quickly and clean after each use, but after a few uses, it soaked up the soap residue and stopped working as it should. Cleaning this dish is painful, the residuals get hard to be removed or brushed out. At least it's made from an environmentally friendly material. I'll go back to ceramic soap dishes.

These soap dishes are very high quality. I wish they were a little narrower so they would fit on the ledge where I usually keep my soap, but they are true to size (I measured the area before buying and knew they wouldn't fit, but bought them anyway). I ended up putting them on the edge of our tub between the two shower curtains. I suppose it's harder for people to read the labels down there, but it works.

Item fails to dry effectively after only a few weeks of use. Soap now remains wet and soft overnight. Not seeing an advantage over a traditional ceramic or plastic soap dish.
