A little tricky to open

I love a travel toothbrush and was super stoked for this one, but was a little disappointed with how hard it was to open and close. I think either the bamboo isn’t polished enough so it gets SUPER stuck when you but the brush back into the lid, or they need to think about a redesign, like adding an o-ring or something else besides friction to keep it closed. I might try to file it down because I still want to use it, but ideally I shouldn’t need to do that in order to use a product.

Because it's made from natural bamboo, slight variations are expected from piece to piece, and bamboo can swell slightly when exposed to moisture. This can occasionally make the fit between the base and lid tighter than intended. Allowing it to dry fully before closing and giving it a gentle twist when opening can help. As for the design, we intentionally avoid adding non-compostable components like o-rings in order to keep the product fully plastic-free and compostable. We know that means a little trade-off in convenience, but staying true to our sustainable values is important to us. We really appreciate your support and hope the toothbrush continues to be a helpful low-waste travel option!

Love it! It's a good quality toothbrush he...

Love it! It's a good quality toothbrush head. I previously had another travel bamboo toothbrush but the bristles were too rough. This replacement fit great with the bottom I had, and much softer bristles. I appreciate it.
