Eco Dish Sponges: Single Layer 3-Pack
Our compostable loofah dish sponges replace traditional foam and plastic sponges for dish washing and household cleaning. Made 100% from loofah plants. The single layer has one soft side, and one natural plant side.
Comes in a 3-pack.
Expands in size and softens in water to work like a typical dish sponge, but without the plastic waste.
Care Instructions: Rinse, squeeze excess water, and place in a dry place to allow water to drain in between uses. You can soak in vinegar or submerge in boiling water for 5 minutes to disinfect. It is recommended that you replace it every three to four weeks or when it starts to break apart.
Mother Earth Approved: Made from loofah plants. Toss in the compost to dispose.
Packaging: Kraft paper sleeve.
I've used a number of plastic free sponges but I've always found that they're too stiff, tough to get into corners, and make washing dishes more difficult. This one does the trick and then some! It's super flexible and soft yet scrubby. My favorite by far. I love using it with a solid dish soap!
To set expectations for folks new to the natural sponge world, it doesn't last quite as long as a traditional plastic sponge but that's a good thing! :)

Just started using these. I am trying to stay away from plastic sponges. They are definitely different but seem to work pretty well, I only just started using,
