They have medium/soft bristles made from castor bean oil and blended with charcoal. Bamboo is naturally antimicrobial and a fast-growing renewable resource.

Includes: Four refill heads in kraft paper boxes or purchase a Tester, which is one single replacement head.

Compatibility: These refill heads fit most "click-on" Philips Sonicare electric toothbrushes including all 9-series models. They will not fit specialty models, screw on models, Oral-B, etc. Not sure if it will fit? Buy one tester head to start!

Recommended: Dentists recommend to change your toothbrush head every 3 months.

Bio-Based Bristles: Made from castor oil and infused with charcoal, these bristles are biodegradable.

Insert on the bottom is made from cornstarch PLA and is required for the metal to fit and vibrate effectively.

I’ve been looking for all natural heads for my electric toothbrush. These fit! It took a little getting used to, as the bamboo is rough compared to plastic, but well worth it!

I would really really like to rate this higher- I love the product concept and would love nothing more than to make a permanent switch to brush heads like this- after an alteration or two.
The plastic stabilizer inside needs some kind of grooves, or something, built in so that it can’t come loose from the bamboo around it. Brushing twice a day, it’s taken two weeks or less for the plastic to detach on multiple heads, meaning the entire head of the toothbrush swivels freely and is very difficult to use. I would expect a replaceable toothbrush head to be functional for at least three to four months (the recommended frequency at which to replace your toothbrush)
I really hope to see this product revised and improved, because I want so badly to switch to it! I would love to be updated if that happens. This shop offers lots of great things and does lots of great work, and I look forward to being able to get behind this product.

Doesn't clean very well

The wood absorbs a lot of the vibration preventing the head from doing its job. We both immediately commented it fdisbt feel like it was actually cleaning and our teeth didn't feel smooth after like with the original sonicare diamond head.

The feel of the bamboo in my mouth is a serious sensory ick and there are too many bristles that were chewing away at my gums.

I personally use these toothbrushes and have for years with my Sonicare. We’re fully committed to offering sustainable alternatives, and bamboo is an excellent natural material that avoids the environmental challenges posed by plastic. Not to mention, the microplastics that shed and are ingested with each brush of a plastic toothbrush. We hope you’ll consider giving it a bit more time, as many of our customers find they adjust.

Best toothbrush head

Replaced my plastic sharp-bristled toothbrush head with this one. The new head fits perfectly and the brushes are so much better, they don't ‘stab’ my gums. Very happy I found these.
